With Pay-as-you-go, you only pay for the time your application is running — both during the build process and the runtime. This is ideal for when you need to start and run an application without a long commitment.

With Prepaid, you pay a fixed price in advance for the term you choose (monthly, quarterly, yearly). This is ideal for always-on projects that benefit from a predictable, subscription-based model.

Both options use the same cloud infrastructure — choose Pay-as-you-go for flexibility, or Prepaid if you prefer a set price in advance.

Disclaimers

Starlight™ Hyperlift supports both Pay-as-you-go and Prepaid billing options. Hyperlift plans with Prepaid billing option are charged upfront at a fixed rate, while plans with Pay-as-you-go option are billed at the end of the monthly billing cycle, with charges calculated hourly.

For Pay-as-you-go, the price depends on the number of hours used during the billing cycle. Note that the number of billable hours varies every month depending on the number of days. For months with 30 days, there are 720 hours.
