  Can you make this app available on Android 8 Devices at least? If you do so, old version phones can be able to surf over internet again while other social apps don't support for that.回复

    Hello Chris, thank you for your feedback! It's possible to invite website users into Thunderbolt (for example via sub-accounts), and then create Groups or Networks with these users - thus creating a community around the website. At the moment, this association between website users and Thunderbolt accounts has to be managed by the customer and is not automatic. Also, being part of a group or private network does not currently prevent users from contacting others "outside" - meaning users with these sub-accounts may contact anyone with a Thunderbolt domain. More stricter isolation or contact limitations are in store for future updates but we do not have any further specific details or dates yet.

  I don't get it. What's the point. It requires a domain. As far a i can tell no other then domain users will be able to use this. So no chatting with family or friends. i don't get the pictures used with youngster. They don't normally have one.回复

    Hello George, thanks for the feedback! We understand that using a domain is a new way to think about messaging. The goal isn't to be 'business-only,' but to give you total ownership of your identity—unlike apps that own your phone number or data. To chat with friends and family: You actually don't need them to buy a domain. You can create Sub-accounts (like https://www.google.com/search?q=mom.yourdomain.com) for them for free so they can join you on Thunderbolt instantly. As for the imagery, we believe everyone—young or old—deserves to own their digital address, but we hear you that the 'pro' requirement can feel like a hurdle. We'll definitely look into how we show this!

  This is for me to use my domain name as my user account? So if I'm the CEO of DomainA.com, I can speak as that to someone else that has Thunderbolt set up on DomainB.net? You've got a patent but I'm not sure the marketing material is explaining it very well. So I set it up, downloaded the app, and I have no idea who to talk to.回复

You’ve actually described the core vision of Thunderbolt perfectly—it’s just that we need to do a better job of making that clear in our materials! To answer your questions: 1. Is your domain your account? Yes, exactly. Unlike traditional apps where you are "User123" on a private server, Thunderbolt turns your domain into your global identity. If you own DomainA.com, you are the verified owner of that handle. 2. Can you speak across domains? Yes. The "patent" and technology behind it are built on a decentralized protocol. This means you can message someone on DomainB.net directly from your DomainA.com account without both of you needing to be on a third-party platform like Slack or WhatsApp. It’s "email-style" freedom but with "chat-style" speed. 3. Who can you talk to right now? If you have colleagues with domains on Spaceship, you can invite them by their domain handle. Send an invite to anyone else you know who has set up Thunderbolt. We’d love for you to stick around and help us shape the platform.

    Hello Joshua Thank you for your question. At the moment to use Thunderbolt you need to download the app or use the web version. However, you can still communicate with people who don’t have their own domain by creating a sub-account for them under your main domain. This lets them use Thunderbolt and interact with you, even without having a separate domain of their own. If you have further questions, please contact our customer support.

All communication is end‑to‑end encrypted, with no central storage and DNSSEC-backed domain verification, making spoofing virtually impossible.
