A Load Balancer distributes traffic across multiple Virtual Machines (VMs) to improve speed, reliability, and uptime.

Starlight™ currently supports TCP load balancing, which directs connection-based traffic (like web or application requests) evenly across your VMs while preserving performance and availability.

Use a Load Balancer when you expect high traffic or need to keep apps online during traffic spikes, outages, and maintenance.

You can attach up to 10 VMs per Load Balancer in the same data center region. You need at least two to make use of the Load Balancer.

They’re deployed in the same data center as your VMs, keeping traffic local and latency low.
