SellerHub charges a 10% commission on each domain sale, and checkout and self-serve links are charged at 5%.

During negotiations, sellers can decide how the domain sale commission is split. This ensures both parties clearly understand and agree on the commission distribution as part of the deal.

For example, a domain is sold for $200. The Spaceship commission is 10%, which equals $20. The buyer and seller can negotiate who pays this commission, or they may agree to split it — for example, 50% each — meaning both the buyer and the seller would pay $10.

Split commissions are available for both Make Offer and LTO negotiations.

It's easy! Go to SellerHub, import your domains, set your selling price, and choose whether to list them at a fixed price or allow buyers to negotiate. You can review the full Domain Marketplace Agreement for more details on the selling and buying process.

Lease-to-own (LTO) domains are a flexible option for acquiring a domain over time, rather than paying the full price up front. The seller and the buyer agree to a monthly installment plan, and once all payments are made, the buyer gains ownership of the domain. The buyer can start using the domain immediately, but if the buyer stops payment for any reason, the LTO agreement ends, and the buyer will have no claim to the domain.
